every year, notion does a cheeky april fools' day social post. this time, we decided we wanted to go a bit further (pun intended) and actually spotlight real use cases instead of purely providing meme value.
along with my team, we came up with the idea to position notion for alien visitors, adapting its features to use cases that they would find relevant. we wrote, created product screenshots, made custom illustrations, and built a live site. from beginning to end, this took less than 24 hours.
