notion was preparing to launch its second-ever product, notion calendar. this required an awareness-based campaign targeting primarily consumer or b2b2b audiences.

targeting a january 17th launch date (to match the ios native calendar emoji), we kicked off a countdown on january 1, 2024. the resulting hype led to notion's highest-reaching instagram post of all time and 1 million signups for the app within 1 week.
