in order to increase student signups, perplexity launched a multi-pronged campaign in fall 2024. there was a growth component (referral contest), a community component (campus strategist program), and a content component (use case spotlights). all of these required support and strategy on the social media end.
working with the in-house growth and brand teams, i created the campaign distribution strategy across social, which led to over 1M searches on Perplexity from university-affiliated users
in collaboration with raman malik (growth), phi hoang + ryan putnam (design), alex baldwin (web), greg feingold (community), daniela gomez (cx).
